I personally believe it isn't. Nearly only evidence you could get empirically is by seeing the person in person, and even still I couldn't be sure if you weren't a copycat. Who knows these things? When you post a video on youtube, it might be *likely* that this person here is slainvet, that this person who posted the topic here is indeed, the person I talked with, but hey, hey could be anyone if he used different nick!

So while there is room for doubt, there are only probabilities at work. It is highly probable that slainvet is indeed who he is, and not someone else, but hell, there's still that chance. I can't be sure. Therefore, I conclude IRC and thus Internet is completely separate from Real life with only highly "probable" connections to the latter, if even that.
