No i legitimately think kissxsis is the only the only manga i've seen that does ecchi so well. I can laugh at every chapter because of how stupid it gets.
I remember the manga as cheesy and bad even for being cheesy. I remember it as a totally unoriginal battle manga that did its thing worse than the other ones.

you should read mangas with the regards of a kid, like that, even if the story is not original, you can appreciate the graphics, the morale, the battle and every characters like something really unique ^^

I do that, actually. I liked hyde and closer. It wasn't that good, but the artstyle kept me going.
I just didn't like the manga and i probably never will. In return, i suggest you read some of the better manga, like bokurano, ares, the lucifer and biscuit hammer...
It might just be a matter of taste.
