I dont see other players custom textures (head, body) why is this?

Maybe they don't have?

Other players can see them and they say they do.
Also my friend has one in his inv and he sees it and all

Type, /dl player name
It will download all item.dat and .tga's (colors and textures) if you still don't see it in that server type, /rec to reconnect.

turn off the bump mapping in options
or
Update your grafics card

Try redownloading the latest version of toribash.

If you have the latest, delete all things in the custom folder.
