Reborn Replaymaking Organization

Lately, in the world of replaymaking, many people have become content with what has been done. Replaymakers focus on creating the same style of replays as everyone else, with minimal variation between their styles. They do not push to try new forms of replaymaking or experiment with different styles. While this does not apply to all replaymakers, this trait can be applied to many.

We believe that this should end.

This organization is dedicated to using the full creative freedom that replaymakers have. Unusual settings, clever movements, and strange yet good decisions are praised. In the world and art of replaymaking, people have the freedom to do what they want and express in the way that they want. People should be criticized not on doing things 'wrong', but on how to do what they're already doing better.

Surprises are what make life interesting, and competition is one of the many things that make life exciting. Those statements apply just as much to Toribash, especially to replaymaking. The goal of RRO is to push replaymakers to be extra creative with what they do in their replays, as well as to promote friendly competition among their peers. We will discuss at length the creation of new types of replays, as well as bring back and learn some of the more forgotten styles. Certain replay ideas are posted into the Replay Bounties tab, where members can compete in the creation of replays for TC and item prizes. Altogether, we hope this will lead to a more expressive and diverse replaymaking community.

Creativity and competition are what we push for. We are the Reborn Replaymaking Organization.

I've been making replays for about a year and mostly do madmans, but sometimes I decide to do tricking and other types of replaymaking as well. I mostly play single player and make replays in toribash, I almost never play multiplayer, unless its for sparring, but other that that, not much. It just bores me for some reason. I've posted two replays below, but if you'd like to see even more than I've posted here, I have a replay thread with most of my replays posted there.

Definitely accepted. I really like your stuff, and you seem to be a cool guy. Welcome to RRO.

In completely other news, I had a weird tricking idea. Anyone who's spun while holding a head knows that it carries a lot of weight. I wonder if you could use a head, whether Uke's or your own, to make you rotate more in a cork or twist? Just a weird idea.

im a replaymaker who has a low belt due to how much he plays sp to practice replaymaking...being made fun of because of your belt sucks man...

anyway i make decent replays, and thats all i do in toribash except spar and such occasionally, i have the most experience in madmans and tricking replays but still have some minor flaws when it comes to them.
When it comes to talking about myself, i would say that i'm a dedicated and helping person when it comes to things about toribash, especially in replaymaking.
When it comes to activity on the forums, i would say im a bit lacking sometimes, but normally im really active when it comes to threads like these.

So in conclusion...
Im logical and dedicated to toribash related manners.
Have alot of experience with Replaymaking.
and can be as active as required, but can have difficulties irl that may stop my activity.

(im not sure if these are my most creative replays or not, they are also pretty old replays so not my best either.)

Accepted. You seem to have some cool ideas about what to do in certain situations, I like it. The real life complications are understandable, that's the reason why I put a fairly long inactivity period. Welcome to RRO.

this seems like a pretty cool idea, but the problem is how are you supposed to get the head in your hand, even if you do manage to do that, how would you get enough height to even do a complete cork/twist

also congrats bumbleburke

I was thinking that you would probably need to decap uke, and then do a scoot away from him. Bonus points if a reincarnated jaker selfcaps and does this. I'm still working on getting corks down, so I don't know if i'd be able to get a good one. Maybe in a slightly lighter gravity
shit
I feel you could use the head to help throw the momentum with your hand or even manage to catch it on your foot then let go as you go into the tuck.
That would throw the momentum then not fuck you over as you go into the tuck and mess up the momentum you gained

you could probably do some hacking to decap uke and put in your hand while in midair, sounds crazy but possible I guess.
