It's hard to start up after a long while of absence.
You forget mapping, drawing textures is very different from drawing normally.
I hope you continue your art, vermine!

I'm an artist.
hey vermine,
it is been a while Since the last time I saw you here.
when I was young I was just amazed how you painted the heads,
In my growth stage I realise how My eye growth together.

in the first head, You put a green and dark green for shadow,
if you want to complete the head I would suggest you to move the hue a bit higher when you go lighter and the opposite too,
try a saturation layer in the midtone, it is the color of the skin with the reflection of the light source, makes everything less boring.

You still map good heads, just get back to what you were and maybe practice more to get better results with painting.
I still dont know how you blend colors, it is different than my method
Man I was so bad that I wasn't really around to see you make your old heads.

But I am glad to see you back.

The head looks great even after your break.

Keep it up man.
yep, i use the gimp + wacom
