the snare doesnt fit at all, i think thats a situation where using entire percussion loops can be an issue instead of chopping or making them

Yeah Id really advice for you to start learning how to make music from scratch if you are interested in it. The creative freedom and the learning are the best things you can have as an artist.

FL Studio 12 has a demo that comes with only a few restrictions and has quite a lot of tools and samples to start with. (You can't save your projects, but beside of that everything else should work, including the export of the stuff you made as an audio file)

Most other DAWs have some kind of a trial version.
