Because it would look bad for the staff to keep complaints hidden. And because a complaint was made towards a public staff member about their public duties, and posted on a board to be resolved publicly, and theres nothing private about that

Transparency. This way you know that if a complaint goes unaddressed there will be a community backlash to it.

Staff complaints are public mainly so we know the staff isn't bsing.
To make sure that complaints do not go ignored/neglected.
It is good that the community knows what is up with current staff, stuff like this should never be kept secret and wept under a rug.
Scandalous things can happen, and if they do, the community is better off acknowledging and knowing about it.
