Recently downloaded the v.1.99, and it just gets me a generic Windows error "toribash.exe has excountered a probelm and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." when I try to get the program up and running.

I was just playing v.1.94 a few minutes ago, and it was going just fine (of course, except for the multiplayer), so I think there is probably a problem regarding my version of the new Toribash.

Anything in the stderr.txt files etc?

No, it's an empty file. Should there be something there?

What graphics card do you have and what windows version are you using?

Could have been something wrong in the download to, you could try download it again.

Using WinXP Pro (5.1, Build 2600) and a GeForce2 MX/MX 400.

Tried downloading, reinstalling, still returning the same error.

Anyway, have you tried completely uninstalling Toribash (the registry files and the preference files) and then reinstalling rather than just deleting it out of your Program Files and then using the new installer?

Toribash doesn't use the register to store any settings.

Alright, I deleted all the Toribash files, redownloaded and reinstalled. It's working now. Thanks all.
