Hello Toribash community! Here it comes our final summer event this year!
Toribash Media presents!




This year's Toribash Media Awards we will be covering up art and ingame skills, as well as a bonus category thrown in!
All Toribash players are allowed to signup (if they meet requirements), and even
nominate anyone they want to! However - you only get 1 vote per category!
(if you vote for more than 1 person per category, all votes excluding your first vote will be disregarded)
(Furthermore, your account must be older than 90 days in order for you to apply / vote)
Only the top 5 videos, replays and sets we decided on the specific date can be voted on.

Before we head on. Here are the schedules.

August 26th - September 9th: Self-nomination app submition
September 11th: Brackets for Best Fighter of The Year announced.
September 13th - September 27th: Best Fighter of The Year competition.
September 14th: Video, replay and set deadline
September 17th: Top 5 videos, replays and sets announcement
September 19th - September 26th: Voting (ANY VOTES BEFORE AND AFTER THIS PERIOD OF TIME DO NOT COUNT)
September 28th: Announcement for each category winners on Toribash Radio and Toribash Media twitch.

The winner from each category will receive the following prize!



We will be putting up 4 categories and 1 bonus category for this year's awards,
and these categories can be found down below!



If you are a replay maker and wanna show the world how your stuff is top of the range, this is your time to shine!
For this category, there is no specific mod or prerequisite - If it's a premade replay. If we catch you using someone else's edited replay, we will disqualify you. - put up an impressive replay and make a nomination app form.
You can upload anything, from spars, multiplayers, parkour, tricks. Anything you can think of.
However, there is a single important requirement for this category;
You have to be at least brown belt to submit a replay.


Each replay maker can only post 1 replay.
So if you really want to replace it, you can replace it before the deadline.
Anything after the deadline do not count.
The replay you're going to submit has to be made by YOURSELF.
And if we catch you submitting more than 1 replay by making alts, we will disqualify you.

The aim of this category is simple - show us your best video, new or old, and bring another buzzing candidate for the awards this year!
We don't want just cool, we don't want just random effects, we want "Impressive".
The video has to be a Toribash video. Anything other than that don't count.

Video makers will have to post their video before the deadline.
We would prefer you kept the video within the 1 minute 30 second mark, so if your
video of choice is longer then it will not be accepted as a valid entry.
If we catch you submitting more than 1 video by using alts, we will disqualify you.

Ok, so here is something for all you budding artists out there!
This year, the theme for this category is "Texture Sets"!
This means that we will be choosing the best made sets, by all that apply!
However we have 2 strict requirements for this category;

The set must be made by you and you only, no collaborative works whatsoever!
You must provide evidence of the set also being a creation of yours and not something
made by someone else.

All brutal fighters should have their own category too! So here it is!
In this category, fighters who have nominated themselves will get their match schedules.
We will put up the match-ups with the schedules in this thread on the decided date.
The game mod will be decided randomly, because all great fighters can adapt to any situation right?
All fighters will have to follow our rules.

1. You have to be in the server we decided for you 5 minutes before the match starts.
2. All matches are played like a duel, first to 3 victories.
3. Pinging on the first turn of a match doesn't count as a loss. However, any ping after the first turn is a loss.
4. Draws do not count as a win for either player and award 0 points.
5. Be respectful to your opponents at all times throughout the match. Any offensive or disrespectful
behavior will result in a disqualification and potentially being barred from future ingame events we host.
6. If you are in Toribash Media blacklist, you will NOT be able to participate in this category.

Are you a loyal Toribash Radio listener? Well we love our loyal listeners!
This category has a slight twist to it. We love our listeners, and we are sure they love us, however we want to provide something for the listeners that show up each day to each broadcast, and join in on the fun with our broadcasters as well as listening to some cool tunes. So this is quite simple; show up as much as you can, whenever and where-ever you can to increase your chance of winning - we will choose the most active listener both music wise and interactivity wise with our hosts. This category is open to anyone that wishes to take part, however spamming mixlr accounts or toribash accounts to apply will mean we bar you from entering this category and possibly future TBmedia events.
