Or you could make a new thread since the last one is kinda dead and full of shit. You can ask and CMod or SMod to close the old thread and you can make a new one.

You do not need to make a new thread for a "dead" unofficial clan.

If the creator of the thread is not in the clan anymore, the only way to regain the power to edit the thread is to make a new thread, sorry.

Sorry I am not trying to be offensive but that information is incorrect. FleshMon was the original OP but left so they transferred it to Viraly0. You can ask Tarlan.

at the bottom right of the post there should be an edit button, I have perms to edit my OP in my clan and it looks like this

Being a leader should give you all these permissions. That's why you should be able to edit it yourself.

Except I can't because the owner of the thread is no longer in the clan.
