Honestly my experiences in plat are pretty pleasant, I usually just get people who quietly pick their role and do decent and let me carry, and no one really berates each other for doing poorly. Even the occasional D5 kid who tilted down to mid plat mmr I get in my games isn't even toxic

Gold is the best tier because everyone there is just happy about getting rewards.
Platinum is full of tryhard kids that are mechanically decent, but they think they are Diamond material even if their shotcalling and game knowledge is crap. They tilt every game when something goes wrong.

Plus, platinum is the tier with the most boosted players according to the stats.
You're one lucky guy to have a good experience in Platinum.
