Head Causes Low FPS
I've created a couple heads before which were all 49K, like everyone else. My new one is 43K. I made it the exact same way - 128x128, 24bit TGA file.

The game runs great until I load my new head texture, then when I'm zoomed in at regular 'fight zoom distance' the FPS drops like crazy. Does anyone have any ideas why?

Sorry if this was already discussed

Hi,

First time I've heard about this. What graphics card do you have?

Can you attach your head and I'll try it out here.

Re: Head Causes Low FPS
It should be 49KB due to the lack of compression. If it is smaller, it is likely that some form of compression has been applied (I doubt there has been a new version of the tga file format).
I has a flavour

Re: Head Causes Low FPS
The head wasn't 128x128.

I just turned up white on my computer. I didn't get the slowdown

Thankyou very much my good man, Runs perfectly smooth in THP. I'll try it out client-side online tonight. You're my hero and I love you in a completely platonic way.
