Hyperthreading on i3 CPU.
So i was asking my self for days, will the hyperthreading feature help my i3 3220 cpu in gaming? Since it is a dual core cpu i read a ton of articles and turned out it would give it a difference in gaming. Right now i just want this option because my cpu can't really handle gta 5 without some little lags, freezes and stuttering.

What do you think? Shall i turn on the hyperthreading to have the max 4 logical cores?
Hyperthreading probably isn't going to help you with single threaded performance like gaming. A duel core CPU with hyperthreading is not equal to a quad core. Hyperthreading can't replace physical cores (even though it helps).
Games aren't single threaded lol?

most games don't really take advantage of hyper threading so you may get a little bit of an fps boost but something with more physical cores would be better.

Depends on way too many factors to say for sure, seriously just try it, how hard is it to run a few benchmarks, turn off hyperthreading and run a few more?
<Faint> the rules have been stated quite clearly 3 times now from high staff
