speakers stopped playing sound
had some music on while i was in bed and suddenly my laptop went quiet
volume mixer still shows the green bar that indicates sound being played and the sound is being played by the right speakers aswell
i've tried updating my drivers, deleting them and reinstalling them, enabling and disabling the speakers but nothing has worked so far

i tried plugging in my headphones and they still work fine so i've got no clue what's wrong
i'm using sound blaster recon3di btw

any ideas?

Your speakers just broke.

Can't be any other reason.

Internal speakers of laptop right?

Unless you want to take it apart there's not much more diagnostics you can do I think.

Yeah not much you can do aside from sending it in to get fixed or buying a new laptop. Alternatively, if you wanted to still listen to music without headphones, you could buy some USB speakers and plug them in.
All it takes is one bad day to reduce the sanest man alive to lunacy. That’'s how far the world is from where I am. Just one bad day.
