Looking good, but try to mirror textures, and not just use them for multiple textures.
Agreed... to me, lightning looks like you did some basic editing on clouds, and techno looks almost like an inverse then recoloring of lightning.

The lightning is Clouds then Difference clouds, then inverted (cause difference clouds has those big black lines in it, those are the bolts) and colored. But the techo is something WAY different.. i need to get a better picture of em. and mind you im taking my time on my textures now
