Esse told me to try a tornado kick next after my jump turning back kick. I'm taking tornado kick to mean jump, kick and land with the same leg. Often interpreted as a laydown 540.

The kick looks okay, but the lack of knee flex on my right leg for the launch isn't very realistic. Landing after the kick is ridiculous and totally unrealistic, on account of how much force I put into Uke's head, but it's the same foot.

That kick in the video is a lot like my jump turning roundhouse, except its an inside crescent kick instead of a roundhouse. Impact is on the inside side of your foot, and the foot sweeps across the target area. Would be a whole lot tougher to get a decap with it.

Yours is pretty nice, but it's a jumping front kick (like a crane kick a la The Karate Kid) with a lead in turn.
