Scenario:

I place a bet for 1000TC.
50 frames go by, nobody bets against me.
Suddenly I have 1000TC at risk for no reason.
If I lose, my money is gone, but goes to nobody.
There was never a chance for me to win money.

Conclusion:

Players with this in mind will bet less often because starting a bet is potentially just shredding TC with nobody getting rewarded.


Proposal:


If a bet is started, but there is no opposition, the participant(s) should be granted back their TC.
