Every game you play gives you +1 qi, even f you win or lose
Depending on how much qi you have will determine your belt.

As posted all above, Qi is the number of games you have played.... For example, you have 500 Qi.... That means you have played 500 times in the multiplayer....

If we earn 1qi a match, why does it say I've played 510 games but I have 880qi?

That may be games only counted in official servers, I am not sure though.
