My first question is if having a power supply with a high output will effect everything else in the computer, like how currently I'm running a 300W PSU, would upgrading to a 950W effect things I don't plan to upgrade? As in feeding to much power?
Second question is how do I tell if a graphics card is compatible with my motherboard? Is it based on the prongs that go into the motherboard?
Last question, what are some cheep and good power supplies around 600W and a good graphics card compatible with it?
Also if it helps I have a stock HP Envy model.
