Animation for school.
hi,
I am opening this thread to show the process of creation an animation in maya,
I am going to try the hardest to complete the animation and show you works in progress.

I am desiring to have some comments and/or critiques of the active and experiencied people of this organization, Just do not put comments or critiques
without being constructive or usefull to me.

before every pie of 3d model you do, you need to do a model sheet,
so there it is.

at first naked, then I will make some clothes drawing.

really weird face, but yeah, I am having more plans for thismodel, I need to edit it since modelling.

I see some pretty scary seams there :S

Why don't you map the arm/hand as 1 UV island with all the seams at the bottom?

I'm not sure about the seam on the top of the feet either! Or the waist seam :S Is it normal to break up the body at the waist instead of having it as 1 island?

in this mapping step I did many planar mappings and and sew it all in pieces.
the guys has no neck, so I did one mapping for the face and neck, one for the body except arms/legs/hands/feet.
one for the legs, one for the arms, two for the hands and two for the feet.
I know what to do with seams, I need to use the same color for one side and other side of the mapping.
I will texture it tomorrow.
