the.....don't remember what was their name, the little boxes that it uses,
i think you can go only up to 16th notes?
No.
FL studio will do just fine for almost any production.
Nikosefs you are talking about midi, and no, there is no weird 16th note limit to midi in fl studio.

Programming drums or synths (literally all of electronic music)
Triggering effects such as gates, autotune, vocoder etc.
Running external synthesizers or effects like digital guitar pedals.
Running lights in a live setting (Midi to DMX)
Midi keyboards and samplers.
and many more...

Unless you are using premade loops only, you will be working with midi when making electronic music.
If you are using any software synthesizers or VSTi in general you will be working with midi.

Also, same thing applies to you. Just because you have seen a DAW once or twice doesn't mean you should give info/input to someone who is interested in getting one.
You are more likely to give advice that is bad or just plain wrong. Like in this case.

if you just googled "fl studio how to 16th note" you would see that they
are many threads and videos discussing that because it is not obvious how to do it at first sight.

for you instead of giving information and helping is more important to seem like you know everything or to prove everyone else is wrong.
