Thanks mate. Actually, nope, I don't plan anything at the beginning, I just start with random stuff. Once the doodle takes shape, I decide what to do with it, and I actually plan where to add parts in order to give it the aspect of something. For example, for the Tropical Bird, I did the whole body without really knowing what I was drawing. Once I added the wings, I started to give him some bird features.

You'd better buy a sketchbook and some stuff for drawings. At least liners or just gel pens.
You have some creativity but and this is kind of leveled graphic.
