I've read that you should try to spin around in a circle if you suddenly realize that you're dreaming. I think it gives you something to focus on and helps stop you from freaking out and going "OH MY GOD I'M LUCID DREAMING" and making yourself wake up lol

I did it in one of the two lucid dreams i've had and it seemed to help a little bit. Got the dream to last about 20 seconds it seemed. Although I was in a car so I have no idea how i managed to spin around 5 times lol
