Hmm, i just think that it makes more sense that one kick = one extension of knee.
In theory, it's just a lot of very small kicks here... I may be wrong though.

In theory a kick is when you hit the opponent with your leg and then withdraw it. -_-

a kick is a blow with the foot, this means that 1 blow, not multiple really fast ones, even if his foot is inside uke, he is kicking inside there if im right
