Mod Request from william
Hey guys.
William suggested a mod today.
loved the idea.
started to work on it imidiatley.
posting this to get additional ideas.
@willy hope its ok that i made a thread for it.


Gamerules:
Wushu3.tbm -> 1500 frames ( for testing purposes )
150 DQ Timeout.
Goal:
get inside the dojo before you dq
touch the ball with your hands to trigger instantwin.
comes both in singleplayer version ( mostly for testing / if no one is around to play with ) and multiplayer of course.
i imagine in multiplayer you actually will have to fight the last few frames ( or just be faster ).
Friction explanation in the picture.

note: this is the first version.
i consider this easy/medium difficulty.
will release more versions with higher difficulty


things i could add:
Intantwin Ball Harder to reach.
Instagib surfaces.
Moveable objects you have to dodge ( balls , blocks, maybe ill get a spinning sword to work ) with enough bounce to kill you or just simple instagib.
Instantwin Trigger for specific bodypart ( stuff like touch the ball with your right glute to win )
Whatever you guys suggest

Things i will add for Advanced Difficutly:

Unpassable Wall with Holes in them to jump through ( idea came from my clanmate hipower )
Longer Way to the Dojo.

i played around in sp. looks flawless
one thing, i'd make an even easier one with shorter distance to dojo for casual play
this way we have : easy
cbtraining: can be considered medium imo
cbtraining advanced: advanced obviously

well an easy one could be done i could move the toris closer ( maybe turn the first box around so its a flat surface and start on there?

for the "pro?" i dont have a name yet might go with batshit insane.
you can expect all 16 moveable objects ( i had some ideas already that involve a spinning blade over 1 hole in the wall, oh removing the second hole in the wall, so you not only have to aim for the hole, but time it as well
maybe some stuff like in laser survival.
and the good old bouncy balls to really fuck up your day

i assure you, im gonna annoy alot of modmakers until i get it done.

killer and swaves were the first two to finish the multiplayer version of medium and are working on advanced right now.
thing to consider: multiplayer = you somehow share the dq timeout with the other person ( didnt know that )
im in /sp and take notes what to improve.

RT: 15 -> 25


Noob version:

Remove wall at the cylinder.
flip first box
lower start range ontop of a save spot.
no dq timeout standard wushu dq / make dojo huge



CB Practice ( med )

maybe to easy?
other than that pretty ok

Advanced:

First wall transparent, maybe lower
2000 frames to be sure


pro version:

fuck up everybody´s day.

i suppose you actually share the dq timeout with the other person ( and thats why i saw so many instant dq´s in rk mma maybe ) other person uses the frames -> you touch and dq. it all makes sense now.

another suggestion; although you got tons of shit to do as it seems. :P

betting version:
-requirements: mf should be not longer than 650-700.
who knows maybe the noob version can serve as so? although, you can add other elements.

well i am convinced if you try really hard and get the perfect setups and aim perfectly you can finish the medium difficulty in around 750 MF.i doubt you can be much faster ( yes this is an challenge to whoever reads it :P )
as for the advanced version same for that one im sure someone can finish it in around 1000MF but below it no way ( im talking about multiplayer btw because of shared DQ Timeout you have to be even more carefull use even less prepared jumps with very limited "groundtime"

the green line shows the usual movement i´ve seen so far which ends in either an attempt to climb the wall or just dq from either side. the "circles" with numbers in them show the jumps
the red line is the way i thought would be the ideal way to go.
i realize it is incredible hard and i doubt i could make the advanced version with a partner in multiplayer ( my setups are not near good enough to hit the ground with 1 limb and launch with accuracy maximum of 5-10 frames later )


a betting version might be fun if we get all the known wushu players togetter preplanned as an event. i doubt the "usual" betting community would risk their tc on a mod they a.) dont play b.) dont like cause boomhits in mushu are so much better omg and c.) have no idea about the possibilitys of comebacks and aiming.
i played with a person the medium version today ( a person that knows atleast the basics of wushu but seemed rusty ) and the comments i got about what i could improve were summed up "omg i cant run in wushu" "this is more for parkour player" "why did i dq" "why is there a wall we cant fight" even though i explained what the goal is.
