Is there a program that lets you smack a decal on a 3D object ( Like a Sphere ) or a Tori's model that is to scale that you can use to make textures in real time? Cost isn't a huge factor compared to general simplicity.
There already is a thread with a list if some famous/useful art programs, the one that jkawig linked. You should look at it before creating a new thread.
