Toribash World Championships info
So apparently this is a thing, could a thread be pinned in the news section describing what it is and what the criteria for qualifying is.

From the season 5 announcement thread: http://forum.toribash.com/showthread.php?t=620288

It's pretty straight forward if you read the thread.
"Description

Toribash Ranking is based on a seasonal system.
There are three seasons per year, each 3 months long. Best players of each year's seasons will compete in Toribash World Championships for the title of the best player of the year.
At the end of each season, players who qualified for Silver Tier or higher receive unique prizes.
The higher you ranked during the season, the better prizes you'll receive - starting with mid-tier body colors and up to Elite Tier color packs with unique full body customization sets."
Jay I just read exactly what you said and how does this have anything to do with world championships, that explains how the matchmaking / ranking system works.

I think sir must have edited the post or something cause i read somewhere about players gaining "points" for a world championship and that matchmaking was only 1 way to get these points. Hinting at tournaments etc, the description you quoted doesn't even mention what points we receive and how many are required to qualify for worlds.
You read something that's completely unrelated to official threads and assumed it's true while what official threads say isn't?

World Championship will be hosted closer to the end of the year (November/December), best players of completed seasons will participate. You'll know more when it's time.
It came from one of your posts sir

and the whole point is to post the info of worlds now so that people know what's going on with it, once again you make a confusing mess. If players can qualify for worlds then they need to know HOW they do it

"best players from each season" wtf does that mean, top 10, 5?? or do u get certain amount of points
Events will be announced only when they are ready to be announced. If info isn't public or currently available, it means that it is not ready to be announced, either due to the event being in flux, or for some other reason.

If you have suggestions for how worlds should be conducted, you're free to give them; otherwise, you'll just have to be patient

Im suggesting toribash staff release information in a logical order, providing qualification information for a world championship halfway through the process is useless
Gotta agree with this, it's pretty stupid to stay silent on another potential incentive to get more players doing ranked matches. Nobody even knows what you need in order to participate in this event just kinda get told it exists.

Agreed to posts above. I assume that little piece of information was released to get people excited, but keeping things in secret doesn't create any suspense or "hype", it just makes people question legitimacy of the concept.

Also getting community feedback on something that you personally aren't involved with, in this example it being ranked matchmaking, is crucial. If you're not gonna release any information about it in advance, it better be flawless execution or you will just get community outraged.

Also; the rewards for rmm atm aren't worth chasing for most of us, as there is close to no way to properly convert awards into cash.
Now doing recoloring for people not in the clan as-well, PM for more info!
