amount of speed needed to dm?
So I had this thought a few days ago and I was wondering if there is a certain amount of speed needed to dm a joint? ( with default gravity and dm threshold)

using the /sm to measure speed.

Pretty sure the calculation is based on force, not speed. Force is a fickle thing that doesn't depend on speed at all, so /sm might not help you that much. Speed differences between two parts across a joint can be correlated to force difference (through a few steps), but that depends on other factors (strength of the joint, mass of the objects, latent joint damage, other things). Maybe someone else has looked into the actual math behind it, but due to how the physics engine works and what values can actually be extracted from it, I wouldn't be surprised to hear that no one's done it.
