Went to a far away island in minecraft only to figure out that I didn't bring any armor, nor weapons nor torches with me. Went all the way back to my house only to remember that I had left a chest on the far away island that contained everything I needed, since I put that there for when I want to explore on the island. Went back to the island, and guess what, there was no chest, turns out I planned to put that chest there, but didn't actually do it, though I thought I already did.

I started playing Deus Ex: HR again.
I started a game on "Give me Deus Ex" (hard mode) and committed genocide. Seriously. I killed everyone who wasn't plot or quest important in the first part of the game (not including those who I could not kill - i.e. the Sarif HQ people since you can't draw a weapon). I killed all the policemen in the first mission who were waiting outside at the start. I had pissed around in the Sarif offices so the hostages had died. At the end, I killed all the policemen around the helipad.
And guess what? There was absolutely no consequence for it. Not even one mention of me killing all the policemen. And then I proceeded to kill everyone on the streets of Detroit. All the policemen, punks, gang members, prostitutes. Civilians. Everyone.
AND NO CONSEQUENCE.
It was at this point that I realised that the game wasn't as deep as I had originally thought. I also learned that the cars on the street explode when shot enough.
I then proceeded to kill everyone on the streets of Shanghai. And there was absolutely no mention of my exploits. Everyone was dead (mostly killed by garbage cans if they were unarmed), including the police and Belltower private security guards.
I'm going to continue to murder absolutely everyone who isn't plot or quest related until the end of the game.
