Ninja Gaiden 2, at the moment. On Xbox 360. I suppose there's harder games though.

Actually didn't have a huge amount of trouble with Battletoads, except with the flying jetski things. THEY <censored> ARGGGGGHHH.

Hardest game I've played on a console recently is probably MotorStorm. Mostly because I still haven't beaten the last few tickets and likely never will.

there aren't too many hard games left. but there was a modded version of pong floating around, where the cpu ALWAYS get the ball. if I find a download link I'll post it

as far as console games, I found Forza 2 kinda tough to learn.
