Search Bar
On the top next to that /jo room section. Their should be a search bar to search for certain members or threads. You can suggest alternatives such as Google but Google doesn't always contain all members and/or threads. Especially if there are a lot of threads with a similar name (I tried searching for a member yesterday to send them a message but I couldn't because I couldn't find them on Google so I had to go through threads to find them). It would have helped so much if all I had to do was search their name on a search bar on the forums.

As far as what comes up when you search for them/thread. Their should be two sections, a section which shows members with similar characters to what you entered and a section for threads with similar characters. When I say similar characters I don't mean so that typing "ishi" will bring up users or threads with I,S,H and I in their username/title. It will bring up anything similar, if that makes sense.

So yeah, please do not suggest alternatives/unsupported because you find this useless to you, it may be useful to others.

Before getting upset about an idea that would be disadvantageous to you, consider the following:
If you think something will ruin the game, it probably wont be added.
If it is, it'll probably be optional and you wont be forced to use it.
If it's not optional, it'll probably be a minor change.

Search already exists, but only people with ToriPrime can use it.

It's on the bar at the top, next to Calendar and Quick Links.

A ToriPrime subscription is required to search the forums. To quickly find a thread or post of interest anywhere on the bulletin board, click on the 'Search' link in the navigation bar at the top of most forum pages. Then, type in the keyword or phrase you wish to search for, and select either 'Show Threads' or 'Show Posts' to view the results. By selecting posts, you will be shown only the actual post in which the search word appears.
For more control over the search, select 'Advanced Search' from the drop-down box. The advanced search page allows you to restrict your search to individual forums, find posts or threads by user, or return results based on tags (?). There are also options to find posts from a certain date, or threads with a certain number of replies.
How do I search a specific forum or thread?
If you are browsing a forum, you can quickly search for a thread or post within it by clicking on the 'Search this forum' link near the top of the page (it's above the list of threads). You can also search for individual posts within a thread by clicking on the 'Search this Thread' link at the top of any thread view page.
What if I don't want or can't afford ToriPrime?
If you do not have ToriPrime, Google or another search engine can be used to search the bulletin board by limiting the search to the site. For example, this is done on Google by adding the search operator "site: forum.toribash.com" to your search.
