Just trying to help but the title has to actually say what your issue is, I've gotten this before. Reinstalled toribash and it was fine. sometimes even a restart of toribash fixes it for me. They those.

Regarding to the problem, if uninstalling/verifying game cache doesn't work, please check your graphic card drivers and update them. Also, you can provide model of your graphic card here, if it's an old one then perhaps it can't handle toribash.

But the error comes back when you turn off menu?
If drivers are updated, the card should be good enough for tb. I suggest going into nvidia control panel and playing around with settings. You should be able to open nvidia panel via right clicking on desktop, and there's an option for it there.
If you check FAQ (subboard of support), you're going to find at least one thread about changing settings in graphic card control panel.
