you will need many video tutorials to learn it, but after you get it you will do it quick and easy.

Blender is hard.. I tried to texture on it once, didn't get past making a sphere

ThePirateKing, it is not the program, it is the way you learn it.
If you have school for blender you will learn easily step by step, but when you try to just mess with the program without help, you will fail.
there is much knowledge about it you have to know.
