Karate/Judo classes
So yeah....my parents are forcing me to go...soon...

Any mistakes I should look out not to make when I go?

What belt are you...in RL I mean...

Also...the only Karate Style I see available here...is shotokan fudokan, which is defense-only..and I know a friend who went...and he told me I wouldn't like it...

Well, I've done Jujutsu (The more dangerous version of Judo really ^_^) and its fun just to throw people around.

And if you're learning self defense karate, that should be fun.

Make sure that you always BREAKFALL!!! On some harder takedowns if you don't breakfall you'll be in a world of hurt.

And try to make breakfalls a reflex rather than thinking of doing it (easy to do, trust me)

I think he means ukemi, as in land correctly using ur hand to hit ground in certain angle and stuff or roll etc.
