Many reasons. First and foremost, giving back to the community. Slightly less, keeping shitbags more or less under control. Even less, the obvious want for respect and a legacy that comes with human nature.

So I guess there's no real benefit. As a blogger I got a referral off hamps so it's a tiny step in the right direction if I want to do journalism or anything.

It was more of an overwhelming interest in the game as opposed to the desire to help people i guess.
I mean, i help people, and most of the time i like it, but a lot of it was curiosity i think. That and Ed said i should apply.

Yeah, I only don't like erthtkv2 because of the mod's name. Make it "tkv2," and the mod will instantly become more popular. This is a valid reason as the name of the mod is still an important feature that no one seems to have yet discussed.
