Good Music of 2017
The year is almost over, and we had a lot of good music. I'm sure none of us were able to listen to everything good that came out this year. Hopefully we can all get good recommendations from each other.

What were your favourite albums/eps of 2017?

I'll give my top 5 albums of the year in order.

1. Jaden Smith - Syre
2. Kendrick Lamar - Damn
3. Jay-Z - 4:44
4. Drake - More Life
5. Rick Ross - Rather You Than Me

The fact that I got SYRE at number 1 will probably trigger some people.

i wouldn't call that my favourite track of the year or anything, but it's still hype as hell and off a great album

d

did amine not make the cut for this list or what

is a jaden smith forum set in the works
I actually forgot about Aminé, he's one of my favorite artists but Good For You isn't on my top 5 but it is in my top 10. I would make a Jaden Smith forum set but I don't like his personality as much as Aminé's.
top 5 reasons to believe that humanity was a mistake

end of the list

corbin - mourn and death grips - steroids were both released this year too, they r good projects

my top 3 would prolly be flower boy > saturation 3 > damn. though
That was really bad sorry.
Someone tell me why this guy is highly respected by some people ???

To put it simple the production, his voice, how diverse the album is and his lyrics (even though some are cringe af). I just love how he can go from singing to straight bars. Sure he isn't as lyrical like Eminem, Nas, Biggie or Tupac but it's decent. It has a lot of replay value in my opinion, the album isn't just a 1 listen and done type of album, certain songs I play daily such as BLUE, Breakfast, Icon, George Jeff, The Passion, Watch Me, Batman, Rapper and more depending on my mood.

But the main reason why I think put it as number one is because I didn't expect a good album from him which is why I probably put him so high. If you do want to listen to the album just go in with an open mind unless your a hip-hop purest just don't listen to it.
5 of my fave albums from this year, quite diverse

Igorrr - Savage Sinusoid

Pharmakon - Contact

Godspeed You! Black Emperor - Luciferian Towers

Cage The Elephant - Unpeeled

Cigarettes After Sex - Cigarettes After Sex

are you shy? That's cute ;)
