i seem to be having a problem making my second head, there is a line going down the back, i was wondering if anyone could fix it, or let me know how to fix it.

You need to make it symmetrical , it means it isnt the same thing at both side , make it the same or remove some bit before the edges end.

ok do this , copy the right or left half of you're head , paste it , flip and put it so both sides are excactly the same , this should fix you're problem

what so you mean, copy one half of the head so its exactly the same both sides?

Go to the backgrund layer and go to filters>Make seamless if using GIMP, and save as copy, so you won't overwrite your work. That's the safest way.
