a couple things i noticed for non-shader atmospheres: no dq rings show and even non-blend flames are hard to see. i know you probably cant do anything about that but i felt it might be useful in some way

You have to attach the image files created by the script in the folder toribash\screenshots into a .avi or along.
Virtual Dub can help you in doing that.
