Hack, slash, crawling is for pussies. Templars fight enemies head-on with melee, be it a demon puppy or a giant the size of New York.

Defenders: They use shields and hit slow. Not like they will ever need to hit twice anyways. An appropriate name for them would be "tank". They are better in teams than going solo, as the blademasters outrun them easily, but defenders can hold an angry demon mob without flinching while other, more offensive characters finish the job.

Blademasters: They dual wield swords and can speed through a map in less than a minute, but lack on the defensive part. It's a good character for going solo, as it's only use in a party is to rack up some kills and be healed by someone else.

Are you a wizard? Cabalists use the magic of demons against them, either by summoning more demons or setting the hostile ones on fire. Their weapons are gauntlets that shoot, pretend it's Metroid, only lacking metal skin.

Summoners: Who said if you want a job done, you should do it yourself? Summoners can have multiple demons walking around while still having the ability to deal some pretty sweet damage, the ideal class if you want to go around sightseeing the post-apocalyptic world rather than doing some hardcore fighting. Rather they go solo or in a team, summoners are both safe and needed, and are by far the best class, they're just not the most entertaining one.

Evokers: Do you want to one-shot anything? You can do that. Do you want to buff your friends and hex your enemies? You can do that too! The only thing you cannot do as an evoker is get close enough to an enemy for him to hit you, as they don't have armor OR pets. you're better off in teams unless you've got the skill to dodge and run from most enemies, but it sure is alot of fun to be one.

This is when the fun kicks in. Pure, unadulterated first person shooter. Hunters are what every other MMO wishes they could pull off, but are unable to due to them purposely trying to be generic. Both classes have fun weapons with as many effects as if you were playing Borderlands, and an oddly powerful armor.

Marksmen: If it shoots, I can use it to kill a demon. Marksmen are great with any gun in the game, preferring 2-handed guns over pistols and the likes. Snipers have the power of about 3 defender hits to the face and railguns and miniguns put the s in dps. It's not particularly any good for anyone else, so if you don't feel like going multiplayer you've just found your class.

Engineers: Same as a summoner, only with robots. The only difference is that rather than letting your pets kill the enemies while you support, your pets are the ones to debuff the enemies and depend on you to kill them. If you add up the medium armor with the meat shield that is your pets, you end up with the safest character in the game.
