That doesn't necessarily mean lowering your resolution wouldn't help, resolution is the number of pixels that your client takes up so a lower resolution is often better for making increasing fps and stopping crashing that low graphics

Try to enter you login detail in a tb_login.dat file in Toribash folder (if it isn't there, create one). Data in it should look like this:
user your-username
pass your-password
That should get you through this connection issue (it can be happening due to user restrictions / firewall settings / connection problems but making a login file manually should be faster).

I was trying to get info on your initial problem with latest version from Dranix yesterday but he hasn't responded yet.
Did you try checking if your CPU / Memory is fine at the moments when the game crashes?
Is there any more advice on this problem? Oddly, I was able to play yesterday without issue, but the constant crashing seems to have returned today...
