How does betting work? How do I bet on games? I've tried doing the betting command but it doesn't work when I do it

/bet <amount> <name>


Example: hans and bob are playing a game but I believe hans will win. So I enter:

/bet 100 hans

To bet 100 ToriCredits on hans.


If you are in any server, especially betting servers, make sure your bets are equal or higher than the minbet setting (which is 100 tc by default) or it won't work. Also, you can't bet past a set amount of frames, the so-called betframes, which I believe is 50 by default. So after 50 frames have passed, you can no longer bet. Bet servers usually increase minbet and betframes to better fit the audience and the mod being played. Usually you'll be told in the message of the day (which is the message you get directly after joining the room) what the minbet and betframes are.
