It is a script that saves your moves. For example, you would do a move and in one of the moversavers, the command to save it /ec save (movenamehere), then you go to your scripts, select movememory.lua and load it. Then press f1 and a screen comes up, you click your move and click load. Then your tori does that move. It's just a short way of doing moves basically.

actually it works pretty well, the thing is you have to save moves not by "/ec save movename", but "/ec save1 movename"(for right side player) and "/ec save2 movename"(for left side player). He means you would have to do no work.
Also, different more savers use different save methods.

Well, have you installed the script ?

after you install it, you have to load it..
also, now when i play tb in multi, i can't see what the foe's joints are anymore ( extend / contract / relax / hold )
but when im still in line, i can see..
so the move memory's function isnt that great anymore..

Thats the point. If it played the whole game for you then it would be a bot.
