Don't take this the wrong way, but the way this issue was handled was extremely clumsy. I understand that hampa had his reasons, but banning everyone involved seems more than a little unnecessary.

He took, action. Things can be reversed once the situation is resolved. It's better to ban all involved parties and fix the mistakes later, then let the problem continue until it's 100% resolved. Anyway, this isn't the place to discuss it.
