the term "over priced" means it's not worth it. if it was worth it they wouldn't be considered over priced would they?

what's worth the cost on those two that i just linked to is what you're getting for hardware, imo the looks don't make cost worth it either do the software as you can change what software the laptop comes with.

So, have you made you made up your mind about getting Alienware?

Decided not to. Even though it looks gorgeous... The price got to me.

I think I'll just rebuild my laptop and get new keyboard/mouse/harddrive for my desktop and I will be happy.

Alienware laptops are good no doubt about that, they are obviously for people who have a bit of money to spend and wouldn't make threads on an online ragdoll physics forum questioning their price.

They make them, people buy them, people are happy with them.

I don't really see a problem.

If you buy from alienware, you pay alot for the name, truely
If you look what you would pay for the hardware you'll recodnise that they are brash
