Looking at new computers...
so im really wanting a new gaming/casual computer, and i've found a few for some pretty good prices in my opinion.
the site im looking on is called www.tigerdirect.com

Choice 1: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...4283&CatId=114

Choice 2: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...891&CatId=4928

Choice 3: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...457&CatId=4928

None of these are over $700 USD, by the way.

which of these would you recommend?

the third choice would be nice if it had an actual videocard with it instead of onboard graphics. the fact that it's a quad core is going to be more helpful than the other two pc's imo but for the two amd options both are upgradeable more so than the intel one.

at least the am3 socket is being used for current top amd cpu's where as intel's lga 775 socket isn't being used for new cpu's.

it's going to be harder to find upgrades for that over the amd but if you don't plan on upgrading the computer at any time in the future then the intel one would be slightly better for price.
You don't say?

Can someone link me to a good GPU? I have no experience in the GPU field.

i have the 1gb version of this card and it's excellent http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814125334

this card gets good reviews and it's cheaper than the 1gb

Do you want a gaming pc? with alot of power, not to expencive?

build it up by yourself (with the help of an IT-pro, ofcourse)
-save alot of money
-have it individually like you want it to be
-better system because of the price/propertie ratio
