Need help D:
Apparently my pc is suffering from blue screens of death very often, once in a while, when I "turn" my pc on from standby, it says yada yada yada windows recovered from an unexpected shut down. Then I click on the additional info button and it says it was a blue screen.

1 - Save your drivers and personal things like, photos and stuff if you can.
2 - Format your pc.
3 - Install your windows again.

Sorry if this doesn't help you a lot, but when my cpu have problems like this I always do that.
If you can't save your drivers, photos and stuff, I recommend you to buy a pendrive or something like that, and keep your photos and stuff in it, so you can always format your pc without problems.

If your toribash settings are maxed, you might want to turn them down, since this game utilizes your processor 100% most of the time. That helped me out.

Are you sure it fully stresses the X6 1055T? It might use 1, maybe 2 cores at most. But not all 6 at the same time.

Have you checked the temps on the cpu? Usually BSODs can come from overheating of some components.

the question i have is when does this generally happen? also instead of formatting try updating drivers or if your drivers are fully up to date try reverting back. ati drivers can cause bsod's but not always. also if you're overclocking anything like your cpu you might be running into voltage issues or temperature issues. in which case check the bios for any settings that might be set improperly.

like i'm saying though i would like to know when the bsod's usually happen. it would help diagnose the problem.

also just a side note to vulc. my cpu which is an athlon II x3 440 does not use 100% cpu in toribash, tart's 1055t will not use 100% either.

Intuition seems to tell me that it could be a hard drive problem, if there is a fault on the disk and your system goes in to standby on that area then when pulling out of standby it would create a problem. That seems to me to be the most likely problem.
However it could be something as simple as a program that is running when you enter standby is acting strangely when you pull out.

oh yes. i should try reading a bit more lol. sorry about missing that and yes i agree. it is more likely a hard drive or memory problem at that point but anything i can suggest is from speculation anyway.

Oh ok, I'll just try to figure out the problem then, or just disable the turn off hard drive option of standby.
