@alpha, the melody was alright, but, pretty much everything else felt a bit flat, especially the vocals, but, that may just because I am not familiar with the egyptian language/the music from egypt. still it's nice to see you're posting some music from your home country.
once you're unbanned for whatever reason, it'd be nice if you could increase post quality a tad bit, since, even if you haven't heard a certain type of music before, you can still comment your first experience with it.

QUESTION
Which is one of your favourite tracks to open up an album (the first song of the album/ep) and why is this? (p.s if you really want to, it doesn't have to be the first song on an album, but, one that you listen to first to get in a musical mood for example)

honestly after listening to the first interpol album straight, this was one of the songs that stood out to me the most. all the instruments stand out from each other and no matter what you focus on, be it the riff, bass or drums it always sounds amazingly well composed and quite upbeat. reminds me of busy nights in london during the winter with the sounds as well.
however it feels a bit odd, because it is generally more upbeat than every other song on the album, but, it's a grand introduction to the band.

just discovered shlomo, not to sure what to think yet.

I really like this track tho.

also this, since i thought the style sounded similar and this is one of my favorite songs ever.

edit: forgot to answer the question.

For some reason for me it always seems like either the second track or somewhere in the middle.

although, for albums where all the songs mix together, like for the shlomo album, I like to start at the beginning to get the whole experience ;)

Oh anime music , not my thing haha
I don't usualy listen to rap music . But if i do it's this kind of rap . I love it .
Not a fan of anime music also, mainly because I can't understand it, except if it has subtitles of course, but even so... Eh. :///
But the beat tho, yeah, the beat. The beat's sometimes is the reason why I like anime music.

kakajade: great bassline. im completely lyric deaf though and enjoyed the beat more, probably because i see rap like i imagine a lot of edm adepts do: a source of breakbeat samples.

(honorable mention: Steve Roach - Reflections in Suspension)

ive been mocked for being a huge fan of this song but the reason i think its the best opener to an album is because of the way boards of canada treat their music. if you havent listened to boards of canada before, for reference, i would accurately describe their music as concentrated melancholia or as ive seen in a youtube comment, "nostalgia for a non existent past".

the fact that i go into this album expecting the usual BOC recipe (claustrophobic, melancholic synths and slightly edgy rhythms and just fucking weird as hell samples) makes this imo the best possible song to start the album with, because the fact that they chose to start the album with practically a nature science show intro makes me feel like i am about to watch one.

the album consists of multiple bitter-sweet and sad songs, and they want me to treat them as an objective, neutral and impartial thesis. you can pick this up from many different point of views but i have always seen it as a way to tell "i am going to tell you multiple sad/melancholic stories (in the form of songs). they are not bad, they are just sad and that is a real thing that exists and we accept it as common and inevitable"
oh yeah
Pusga: Though that Genre is not really my taste, I genuinely enjoyed the song. The "Nostalgia for a non-existent past" is an accurate way to describe it. It wasn't bad. Pretty good in my opinion.

During the time this album was going to be released, and when I got it, I was 100% stoked to get it. This was definitely a great song to open up Knock Madness, and for good reason. It's one of Hopsin's better songs imo, and it's honestly a "Hype" Song. It's just a song that you listen to when you want to get pumped over something.

Hehe.. this one!! The reason why I love the opener of this album is a historical one.
If you are known, you immediately hear that Led Zeppelin: Immigrant-Song theme at the beginning.
Some say, Lucifer's Friend has stolen the idea.. some say it was Led Zeppelin. They both released their album in November 1970.
Whatever, it's a great album and a great song (not as great as the Immigrant-Song in my opinion but ..great). Read the comments of the youtube video. It's kinda interesting. One guy wrote: " ... However, you can also imagine the horns the Apes used in the original Planet of the Apes from the 60s ..."
