Just wondering if you guys are working on this bug, on 3 seperate occasions ive beaten someone but the DQ didn't work, then a few turns later they DQ me

It happens sometimes due to the max contacts. To fix it you need to make the Max Contacts higher to about 15, if you are in the middle of a match letting go of both hands most times can solve the issue, or if you can try to separate as much as possible from you opponent and the DQ will work.
