If you look closely you'll see the hands are asymmetrical. Anyway I really like the idea, it's very different, kinda goofy too. For the hands it might be interesting to turn one like upside down, or add some of the red paint/blood/period to it. Just an idea.

Looks interesting so far. Curious how much you'll go into rendering it.
Also curious how it'll look in motion. At the moment it looks like that face on the left elbow (his right) will get blocked one the joint makes it's natural contraction. Same kinda goes for the front facing design on the hips. I'd try and shift that design to the sides if I were you to make the design more visible (In motion I feel like you see the sides of the hips more often then the front).
Seeing you work on these makes me want to make one myself lol.
