WYSIWYG is garbage and you're way better off disabling it.
As for images, I think there should be no problem if you upload to an external image hosting provider such as Imgur, make sure you get the direct link and manually add [IMG][/IMG] tags. (Or copy the link which already has [IMG] tags.)
You don't have to bump a thread like this. Make a new one. If you wish to addres a bug, go to the Tech Support board located here.
